The Cow Herd here at KAY-R is made up of 250 purebred charolais females, 40 club calf females and a select group of commercial cows for our Embryo program. We believe a strong maternal cow is of the utmost importance. Mothering ability, udder quality, and heavy milking cows lead the calves they produce to more pounds in the fall. Along with exceptional maternal ability, disposition and structure are key factors we focus on to ensure are cows can thrive in many different environments.
